Hi all,

My fsx is damn near where i want it now, the only remaining issue is a slight stutter when over ground level at approximately every 3 second interval. Its easier to see later in the video just going over the airport boundary.

Any help is appreciated to help iron out this last issue to perfect my setup.

Hardware is gtx 780, i7 4970 at 4.6ghz. All setup exactly as nickn's guide apart from an affinity mask setting as its the only way i could previously stop a system hang i got previously.

I run asn, rex 4, rex softcloud, orbx global, ftx eng and wales,mag-soft shader, mytrafficx, steves dx10 fixer and proatcx.

Nvidia inspector is setup exactly as mentioned in other forums with 1/2 refresh rate on my 60hz monitor with frames locked in fsx at 30.

Considering everything you have running: weather-custom scenery-AI and road traffic- I dont see a problem

Is there a certain ampunt thats expected them? If you look at the video its more so when nearer the runway

When AI pops in you normally get a slight stutter, as in when that plane appears at the hold short line, weather loads, etc (you see the textures 'flash' as it updates

As PIC 007 said when AI comes into view you sometimes get a slight stutter. Your sim looks like its running very well to me

Try changing FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.15 to FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.10.

 

This stops some micro stutters for me YMMV.
