Rendering blurred

I have noticed this issue for a while but never had the chance to address it. My FSX always has that "point of sharpness" where if anything gets past that point, the rendering blurs. You can see in my screenshot below:

As you can notice, the taxiway marker and taxiway concrete textures past a certain point become blurred. Is this normal for DX 9 or are there any settings I have missed?

Is the anisotropic filter on?

Yeah, that definitely looks like anisotropic filtering is not high enough.

Yep I have anisotropic on in FSX and in my NVIDIA control panel, which is on for 4x. I also turned on FXAA in NVIDIA.

4 is a little low, turn it up to 16 and try again. If performance suffers too much with 16 then you'll have to live with 4 and blurries.

16x instantly solved the issue. I stuck with 4x because in I use 4x in P3Dv2.4 and it gives me no blurries. 8x for FSX still gave me a bit of blurries so I didn't even touch 16x. However, using 16x, all is well (and sharp!).

Thanks!
