January 31, 201511 yr Well, this is the first time I buy an extension for an aircraft module since I own MSFS :-) Took me since the -300 was released to finally take this step, not because I didn't like the aircraft but rather because I had decided, among other things, to wait for the FBW / FDM patch. The patch happened sometime ago, but then I was too much involved in DCS World and almost never started FSX or even Aerowinx PSX, but with the new "Steam", and even after reading about the problems many are, unfortunately, experiencing, and since I had no problems with the 777 200 LR, today I bought, installed and completed my first vlight in the PMDG 777 300 .... What can I say ? Well, pretty much what I said when I first used the 200 LR - it's a Masterpiece. In all honesty, and although I still remember the great times I had with the Queen, and then almost a couple of years ago when I decided to buy the NGX, truth is that this 777 is so beautifully modeled, in all aspects, that it is by far my preferred PMDG so far, and, I think I can say, my preferred MSFS add-on ever ! I can only look forward to the upcoming 744 v2, and I confess I am pretty much in the fence, almost jumping, regarding the JS41, but since I already own the Majestic Q400, well, I am holding my CC... A Big Thank You to PMDG for this Extraordinary aircraft ! January 31, 201511 yr I can agree with you. The -300ER is a monster and a true masterpiece. I love every single flight with it. Philipp Schwaegerl
January 31, 201511 yr Author Tests continued with phugoids, which were perfect in as far as I can tell. erturbed from the FBW trimmed state the 777-300 showed positive pitch stability, converging after a few cycles. A problem I had reported before regarding the stick shaker not being activated was found to be related to the fact that I had strted my flight after loading the PMDG 777 from a default FSX situation with the B747. Given the complexity of this aircraft I believe one should always start from a loaded panel state. When I did that, all worked as supposed! AMAZING aircraft!!! February 2, 201511 yr I am pretty much in the fence, almost jumping, regarding the JS41 You'd be amazed as well at this aircraft. PMDG's owner, Robert, flew these early in his career and this product is a high fidelity model. Flying the aircraft is very realistic and the workload compared to the fully automated modern airliners is overwhelming at first but once up the learning curve it's a lot of fun going into places no large aircraft can go.
