Out of fuel, pilots just gave up walked of the job, being towed to a maintenance hangar,  ground crew in training, new tow vehicle being tested 

Leasing aircraft is just for tax purposes, they become operational expenditure instead of capital expenditure, it also limits your liability.

 

From the passenger perspective they won't know the difference.
