No Steering in PMDG 777

Featured Replies

Using the FSX SE verion for 2 days now. Now I have no steering. I pushback from the gate and when I have clearance I try to turn the aircraft but it keeps going straight. The ailerons are working when I turn my yoke but the wheels are staying straight.

I did go into the FMC setup and started experimenting with some different options but I don't thing any of them would prevent the wheels from turning. Any thoughts on what may be the problem?

Frank, no need to post three times. Look at your flight controls synoptic and verify that your rudder works (when stopped).  Most likely problem is the rudder axis for your controller.  Also, ailerons do not control nose wheel steering.

There's the problem.

The rudder is what's connected to the steering, not the ailerons. In reality, this is actually controlled by the tiller, but for simplicity, it's linked to the rudder in the sim.

Thanks. I remember now that I made some adjustments in FSX to sliders and other options. In  Realism I unchecked auto rudder. Checked it and all runs fine now, Sorry for the mutliple posts.
