February 9, 201511 yr great shots, just bought the a320 neo from jardesign, i assume thats it, enjoying x-plane 10 wrong bus, Peters Aircraft is a different payware.
February 9, 201511 yr wrong bus, Peters Aircraft is a different payware. Nothing´s "wrong" with the JAR Design Airbus. I just personally prefer Peter Hager´s one in XPX! ;-)
February 10, 201511 yr Can one use trackir and ezdok (or similar) with XP ? Would it be possible to move around the VC just like in FSX ? Yes TrackIr and a program called X-Camera for ezdok type functionality. In regards to moving around the VC you can use the mouse obviously as well as configure the numpad to automatically jump to different views. From EGFF to YSSY

I think you misunderstood my post#12, I wasn't posting a question, but rather answering a question post#8 by "MindYerBeak: Alan Twiggys AOPA Member "All Things Aviation"
February 10, 201511 yr I think many people aren´t aware of the possibilities XPX´s camera system offers. One can set up views like in Ezdok, you have a free camera, etc. Generally, XPX offers so much under the surface, that most people don´t recognize... That´s why I love posting the screenshots and making the live streams. X-Plane 10 really has the power to surprise and amaze people! ;-)
February 19, 201511 yr I'll might do some streaming on twitch anytime soon again. I'll be very happy to answer question there about JAR vs. Peter's Aircraft, how to set up a realistic flight with Peters Airbus, etc. Stream and details about it will be announced here: http://facebook.com/XPXschmeichel75
February 19, 201511 yr Stunning visuals for sure! ...... if I'm honest though, the exception to the beauty is the virtual cockpit of the A320 in the pics. I'm sure it's good systems-wise but the texturing and some of the moedelling looks like FS9 freeware, compared to the texturing we're used to with FSX payware. I also just watched a Matt Davies youtube video of the JARdesigns A320 in action and although, the VC was better, the sounds were dreadful, and according to Matt, the FDE "horrific" and "stupidly sensitive". So the usual conundrum with XPX - beautiful world, but for tubeliners......? Still perhaps not the right platform.

Please have a look at this thread, where you probably can identify the shot of the VC which I´d describe with "photoreal" without any doubt! ;-) http://forum.avsim.net/topic/461507-xpx-beautiful-airliner-action/?p=3170961
February 26, 201511 yr I swear, the series of shots look real world...what a great system you must have to render them! Ses
February 26, 201511 yr Thanks a lot! ;-) My System is decent, but not high end: i5 3570k @4.2 GHz 16 GB CL9 RAM GTX 670 2GB Win 7 Home Premium 64bit All on 2x 480GB SSD Reasonable settings are very important in XPX. I am very happy to have stable frames at around 30 fps (externally locked with NI, to have a more fluid streamig experience).
