Is there any add-on, freeware or other, which improves the default autogen houses in UK to provide more 'brick' built houses? It seems the majority of autogen houses have whitewash walls which is so unrealistic, in UK and most of northern Europe.

That used to annoy me too, Stuart. I did consider darkening/recolouring the autogen building textures in FSX , but it would have been a long job (there are a lot of them), and of course it would have changed autogen houses all over the place, not just UK.
 
Then I installed FTX Global, and although the autogen houses still aren't exactly right for the UK, they look a lot better (to me). But if you want totally realistic UK houses I think you have to install the FTX UK region. Perhaps someone who has that region can comment. .

FTX England does indeed fix this

Thanks, but I don't want to purchase FTX England at the moment as I use the VFR GenX Horizon photo scenery for England & Wales in conjunction with OpenVFR which adds default autogen in correct locations based on OpenStreetMap. Hence my thought of changing the white default houses.
