February 11, 201511 yr Hey all, I have FSDT's KLAX, which (based on my understanding) should run perfectly fine with DX10. I am using Steve's fixer as well. As recently as 1-2 weeks ago I was having zero issues, however I noticed tonight that I had unsightly blue textures on my runways (not the case with taxiways) and the issue only presented itself at night. Here are photos of the issue: Any ideas? I tried reinstalling KLAX, tried removing the effects library from the DX10 fixer and re-implementing them. Not sure what else to try at this point. Any help would be MUCH appreciated! https://www.youtube.com/user/vertighoFS http://www.twitch.tv/vertigho/profile
February 11, 201511 yr Hi, there is another thread dealing with bad runway textures/lights in the FSX main forum. The reason there was the 3d lights of the PMDG NGX. FSX is not designed to show real 3D light effects. So there might be issues with the ground texture shining thru the 3d light effect. Are you using a PMDG 737 with these screen shots? February 14, 201511 yr Indeed, it is the PMDG 737. Did you try to post this on PMDG's forum? Ric Elmore
February 14, 201511 yr Author Did you try to post this on PMDG's forum? I'll pop over to PMDG's forum shortly and ask there. In the meantime, if anyone here has ideas, I'm all ears. I put myself on the ground at night on 25R in the Level-D and flipped on the landing lights. No blues textures. It does seem to be related to the PMDG 737 and its lighting. On another note (this may not be DX10 related), I notice that the lights on online traffic are enormous. Often the landing lights appear to be giant, glowing orbs of fire. I can barely see the planes themselves. Is there a known solution for this? https://www.youtube.com/user/vertighoFS http://www.twitch.tv/vertigho/profile

February 14, 201511 yr Author For enlarged lights you probably need to experiment and adjust the bloom settings. Great, I'll give that a shot. Thanks Steve. https://www.youtube.com/user/vertighoFS http://www.twitch.tv/vertigho/profile
