Jaggie textures : aircraft fuselage + wings

Featured Replies

Hi ya, can anyone maybe help with the jaggies i am getting on all my aircraft including default ones? Even in 'select aircraft' view when each aircraft is rotating around, they are visible. They have never been like this before, i have reinstalled flightsim, changed drivers, checked anti-aliasing, but its still the same, just like a slow moving shimmering escalator effect. Is there anything else i can do to eliminate them?

Thanks Shane, i did that also but its still the same, so probably there's no solution to it? i see small jaggies on the airplane and also on the runway edge depending on the viewpoint, but ideally should there be no jaggies visible on a flightsim aircraft? Thanks for any help.:-)

Are you using windowed mode or fill screen mode. I believe that on my system anyway, AA is disabled in Windowed mode.

try thisRight Click My ComputerGo to PropertiesGo to Advanced TabClick Settings Button under PerformanceClick Advanced TabUnder Memory Usage change to Programs Do not use system cache. This is all under XP PRO.

What would be the purpose of disabling the system cache? Thanks!Odaat

I did some playing around with the settings and have increased AA in the video card to 4xS , not sure what that means but hey the jaggies are virtually non-existent now, i'm using full screen but it looks like AA is disabled in windowed mode as the jaggies then appear again! Thanks for all your answers anyway, the aircraft look much better without the hacksaw edges on view!
