February 19, 201511 yr This may have already been asked, but I was curious if prepar3d 64 bit is a thing, and if it is, when it will be released? Fsx is good, but the performance I get isn't. I was thinking if we had a prepar3d 64 bit, if it would use more of my ram and my gpu, hopefully giving better performance. Any info to help curb my curiosity would be awesome. And again, my apologies if this has already been asked.

And again, my apologies if this has already been asked. This has been asked to the tune of a beaten horse. I see you're new around here, LM have confirmed P3D will go 64bit but when no one knows. Many topics exist in the P3D section of forums here and on the LM forums at prepar3d.com. If FSX is not giving you the results you like, why not make the switch to Prepar3d v2.5 which does take better advantage of modern hardware. Its not a perfect sim but an improvement over FSX. February 19, 201511 yr Author Ok thanks! This has probably also been asked, but will I have to purchase the 64 bit version when it comes out, or will it be free to me? Cost and how well it'll run on my computer are the main reasons why I haven't purchased it yet
