A sizzling sound, then smoke ...

Recommended Posts

That's what happened to my PC. I may have pushed my 560Ti a little too hard without proper cooling. The overheating also damaged my mobo. I've decided to purchase a new system rather than replace parts in a 4 year old computer. I need help answering this question. I'd like to install what will be my old hard drive as a secondary drive in my new system. That means there will two drives with WIndows 7. Can that cause conflicts or problems?

Thanks!

Make sure that you specify which drive is the boot drive in the BIOs and you should be fine.
