Unless I've missed it, I haven't seen or heard any mention of MSFS 2024 being a free or paid update.

I tried Captain Sim's 767 and a few GA aircraft. No problems there. It seems to be happening only with PMDG's 737.

I have throttles set to idle, yet on taxi, my 737 continues to move slowly but picking up speed forcing me to ride the brakes. Is this normal operation or is my throttle calibration off?

I've used it with UT2 and a few older FSX aircraft that don't have P3D 3.35 Installers yet without any issues. But Instant Scenery 3 doesn't seem to be compatible with 3.3 right now even with MT.

This is what works best for me and my BenQ ... Brightness: 1.08 Bloom: .75 Saturation: .80

I don't have 3.0 installed anymore so I can't compare. But with 3.1 it looks to me like the spinner, windshield, and body of the aircraft now have reflections maybe? I just never noticed this in 2.5 or 3.0.

Being a former Windows 7/64 user also, I decided to see what would happen if I moved to Windows 10. All I can say is it was pretty uneventful. FSX and P3D run just as well under 10 as they do using 7 for me. No issues at all so far, I really don't miss 7 at all.

Yup. Installed 10, then reverted back to 7. Now I can't get updates for 7 anymore.

I really enjoy this twin. But I have the hardest time taxing, seems like I'm always riding the brakes or hitting the reversers. I either speed up to fast or come to a halt. I'm just looking for a smooth taxi to the runway. I also find it hard dealing with throttle response lag. Is this really how a turbo prop operates? Or are my control settings off. I'm sure there's some good King Air pilots out there that can share some advice.

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Sir ... A very heartfelt "thank you" for all you've done for AVSIM and the flight sim community.

So far ... it's still cheaper than getting and maintaining a pilot's license.

That's what happened to my PC. I may have pushed my 560Ti a little too hard without proper cooling. The overheating also damaged my mobo. I've decided to purchase a new system rather than replace parts in a 4 year old computer. I need help answering this question. I'd like to install what will be my old hard drive as a secondary drive in my new system. That means there will two drives with WIndows 7. Can that cause conflicts or problems? Thanks!

I've seen some discussion about the i7-4770 being a good match performance wise for FSX and I would think P3D as well. When I compare my i7-200K specs to it using the Intel Core i7 Comparison Chart, I see very little difference in the numbers. Can someone explain to me what makes one CPU more powerful than another? Is it based on Processor Base Frequency? Process Technology? Supported memory MHz? Thanks!

My 560 TI has served me well and I'd like to move on to 970. But with a i7 200K processor, I just wonder if it's worth sinking another $300 into an older system.

V.2 was unusable for me. Then came V2.3. What a difference. I still have FSX, but I'm flying mostly P3D now. With fps locked at 35, It's smooth with no popup trees or textures, and I really like HDR effect. I do take a big hit with cumulus clouds. But I'm hoping that 2.4 or some other update takes care of that. Got to give LM credit for the regular updates and for the commitment in making this sim more realistic and pleasurable for us.

I know a lot of work went into that. Well done.

AnkH ... Thanks! Will give this a try tonight. I contacted Carenado support twice and their only suggestion to me was to reinstall which made no difference obviously.

Really nice! FSX? or P3D? And what scenery is this?

Thanks for the help Steve ... it looks like Carenado forgot to include fx_CARldn1900D.bmp and fx_strobecar1900D.bmp. I searched for these files on my computer and can't find them.
