February 27, 201511 yr Hey FS2Crew team, I'm a very happy user of your products for the NGX, the 777 and now the Airbus. Today I noticed that the F/O doesn't change the above/in/below setting of the TCAS. Maybe it isn't in the Airbus SOP's but it feels like the F/O actually should do this. There is also no hint in the manual. Can you tell me wheter the F/O or the C/P? I also noticed that my F/O never sets the crono on on takeoff ... Edit: I didn't notice that the chrono is the captains task ...
February 28, 201511 yr Commercial Member I don't recall seeing that in the Airbus FCOMs. We'll consider that for an update, but if you want to set TCAS to Above or Below, I'd just set it manually for now. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
February 28, 201511 yr Hi Bryan The Airbus SOP would be to set TCAS to Above for take-off and climb (select at same time as TARA call in Before T/O Checklist below the Line), switch to Normal on reaching Cruise and then Below at the top of descent. Obviously, this can always be done manually but it would be useful for the first one is included in the FS2Crew FO actions. Love flying with the help of FS2Crew.
