June 8, 200520 yr Is anybody aware of any good Alaska landclass files available for FS9 (payware/freeware/shareware/anywhere)?Thanks,Victor
June 8, 200520 yr Be careful, since I purchased Misty Fjords and Ultimate Terrain's Alaska, Canada, 95% of the flying I do now is in that scenery. It's too good to leave :)
June 8, 200520 yr Author Thanks for the replies. Now, do you ever get that "I must ask my questions more fully when posting them to Avsim!":-shy...............Well what I should have asked is if anybody knows any good landclass files for the areas not covered by Mist Fjords, Alaska Cinematic and Holger's Glacier Bay scenery. I've already got them all. Show me some good scenery and I'm your man! :-lol I've also got UT Canada/Alaska but I thought this only added landclass for towns and cities.
June 8, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Victor, there's the MyWorld commercial landclass package, which includes Alaska. I don't own it but there's a support forum at simflight, on which users might be willing to post a few screenshots on request.http://forums.simflight.com/viewforum.php?f=26Let us know what you find out.Cheers, Holger
June 8, 200520 yr Ultimate terrain from Flight 1 would probably fit your needs, but after you try Alaska Cin 1, you won't want anything else.. :)
June 8, 200520 yr Author MyWorld landclass seems to make Alaska too green at least in the small area I tried using the Mistymeter - Holgerometer!:-) I tried loading the same piece of (rock) scenery with Misty Fjords scenery loaded and then only MyWorld landclass. MyWorld put far more green in than MF. However, as I said, this was a very small test area so may not be a good indicator.
