The results from the videos look much better than the FSX/P3d 2/ORBX default trees and some of the tree models look even more realistic than the Zinertek Tree Environment X, which is a similar product for FSX and P3d 2.
March 21, 201511 yr They look very good so far. March 22, 201511 yr Looking forward to this. I have the Zinertek tree, but for whatever reason, they did not seem to follow the terrain as well as default Orbx. Loved the colors, though: fall with Zinertek was really, really nice. March 27, 201511 yr Author Maybe it's my imagination, but when I look at the most recent videos that have been posted regarding HD Trees, the "2.5D" nature of the deciduous trees seem to stand out more than with the Zinertek textures. The FSX/P3d autogen trees are only two rectangular surfaces at right angles to each other, so when textures are painted onto the two flat surfaces, it is hard to get any legitimate volumetric feel to the trees. I'm still going to purchase it, though.
