I recently noticed the "nadp" setting in the briefing.

What does that do? I remember, in the 737 it actually changed the commands after takeoff (level change etc). However, in the 777, I don't notice anything.

Probably untrue, but still .

Any advice on usage?

Hi Victor,

 

In the 777 it's just for the brief.  The 777 is much more automated than the 737.  You'd always be using VNAV, and it does everything for you.
