5 hours seems to be the workable norm for me ... anything less and my code turns into spaghetti.  :)

Just comparing one sim to another... in rFactor2, a racing sim by ISI, HDR is completely configurable and there is one person on rF2's forum that continually makes custom HDR profiles for individual 3rd party tracks, he apparently is quite good at it. Different HDR profiles can be loaded at users choice.

 

HDR tweeking is about as user friendly as SweetFX. But, once you spend time with it, some rewarding effects can be obtained. I've seen badly made tracks turned into near works of art just by use of HDR adjusting.
