March 26, 201511 yr When I go to the nav lsk on the cdu sometimes the ils frequency is set to park. How do I enter the ILS freq manually. Entering the freq and hitting the lsk beside the park notation gives me an "invaled entry"

March 26, 201511 yr Author I did that and get invalid entry! I stated that in my post. If there is PARK in the ils freq, you cannot change it! Ollie, your post makes no sense to me!
March 26, 201511 yr Example: Your ILS frequency is 109.50 and the course is 6°: Wrong: 109.5/6 Also wrong: 109.5/006 Still wrong: 109.50/6 Correct: 109.50/006 What happened to AVSIM
March 27, 201511 yr did that and get invalid entry! I stated that in my post. If there is PARK in the ils freq, you cannot change it! March 27, 201511 yr Commercial Member I did that and get invalid entry! I stated that in my post. If there is PARK in the ils freq, you cannot change it! Not true. Did it last night. As Olli mentioned, you need to enter the full frequency and full course: 111.90/088 Do not leave the zeros out. Kyle Rodgers
March 28, 201511 yr Also, there is no need to change PARK manually. PARK should automatically change to Autotuning (A) when an approach has been selected and: - less than 50nm from top of descend, or - less than 150nm from rwy threshold, or - FMC in descend mode If the frequency or cource is wrong, then you can enter it manually as described by others.
