April 4, 201511 yr Hi all, I have 3 Asus monitors for my Flight Sim setup - the middle monitor is HDMI and the two side monitors are DVI. During dusk/night flights, I notice that the middle monitor (HDMI) seems to have less contrast than the other two monitors using DVI. Is this just because of the cable types I'm using, or is there something in the monitor settings I can change to get them to all show evenly? As always, your help and feedback is greatly appreciated!
April 7, 201511 yr If all three monitors are identical models and all have the same settings, I know this may sound too easy but could it be the angle that you are viewing them? If they are a matte screen especially, the colors could change slightly depending on your viewing angle. Just a guess really, other then that the only thing I could recommend is pausing in the night situation and adjusting the side monitors colors and contrasts to match the middle monitor. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
April 7, 201511 yr Commercial Member I experienced the same thing, the same way. One can move the monitors and the difference is still there. Solve by manually adjusting the monitors via the monitor menu. Hope this helps! Hope this helps! Thank you for all the feedback. I played around with the monitor settings. I think I've got all the settings matched across all three monitors. However, I do still notice a small contrast between my one HDMI monitor (middle) and my two DVI monitors (sides) at night. With everything else though, I can not determine any other differences.
