KEWR Newark has had one for maybe a year or more.  Lots of info on GLS out there in the wired world.

Yes. There are others to. Think Denver or Houston has it as well but does it simulate in P3D and the NGX? Must be a question for the addon developer i guess.

P3D brings nothing to the party, it depends on the skill of the procedure developer (Navigraph) and as for the NGX it's ready with IAN option.  The GLS is a RNP approach with airfield criteria.

two things need updating to be able to conduct GLS ops - the sim platform and the NGX.

- The sim airport needs to be equipped and be able to transmit the required data via GBAS to the capable aircraft

- The aircraft needs to be equipped and be able to receive signals from the GBAS and GPS constellation.

Jeppesen have been kind enough to give largely un-altered NavData via Navigraph which is why you can see the GLS proc's. If ever an aircraft and flight sim airport becomes capable, you will have the appropriate NavData at least, to fly a GLS approach.

There are so many resources out there on this stuff. Keep in mind though, in the real world RNP/GLS  is just starting to gain traction, at a very slow rate. Bottom line is, don't expect PMDG/Boeing to give this stuff just yet, as it's still fairly "new" to the commercial flying world (though the concepts and capability have been around for a long time).

Here is some excellent material on RNP approach to GLS autoland.
