SID STAR and Airport diagram charts for FSX default airports

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here and I have used FSX since 2008 but just recently got into flying realistically. I'm looking for a software (freeware or payware) that shows airport diagrams, SID, STAR for default airports. I realize FSX ATC doesn't support SIDS or STARS.

Thanks

I recommend downloading updated AFCADS for the airports you fly to so you have updated taxiways and terminals. You can use the actual airport diagrams for reference. Just google them.

Sadly, not all the airports I fly into have an updated AFCADS. Thanks for the suggestion!

Take a look at FlightSim Commander (FSC) at http://www.fscommander.com/ to see if this is what you are looking for.  With FSC you can build flight plans using SIDS and STARS, get real world weather, and when you zoom in far enough you can see where you are on taxiways, etc. FSC uses Navigraph data.  A free, fully operational trial version of FSC is available so you can "try before you buy".

best addon for  this  is the Avlasoft efb    shows all the sids/ stars that you can select   for  each rwy etc, you can plan your  taxi route  from your  parking  to the rwy you choose,  shows all the parking  numbers of each gates  etc  and  has  a map of your progress during the flight  and  has other features  as well

I couldn't see any SID charts or star charts in the free demo. Does it show those charts in the full version?

Thanks for the link.

Does anyone know if Navigraph carries the default airports cloud or desktop?

Thanks

Thanks for the link.

No problem another  thing   is  that  once you found  your  charts  etc  you can install  them into  the avilasoft efb   so it  all be  in one place  athough this is time  consuming   so  if  you do I airport  at a time
