April 10, 201511 yr What model is the NGX now using from the update? I looked everywhere but can't find anything Vernon Howells

April 10, 201511 yr Does Active Sky Next have to be installed into a livery for the WXR to show weather with the latest version of PMDG 737 NGX? I ask because I get the range circles and note that radar is active but no weather showing. I have thunderstorms in the area. If this is addressed somewhere else please lead me to it.

It's in the readme file that comes with the SP update, in the introduction manual, and right on the 737NG main product page: "Included free as part of the SP1 update, the PMDG 737NGX features a working simulation of the Collins WXR-2100 weather radar. In conjunction with the Active Sky Next weather engine add-on..." So yes, ASN needs to be installed and running to get precipitation returns on the weather radar in either the 777 or updated NGX.
