April 10, 201511 yr Hi guys, Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place, but couldn't really find the perfect place to put this question! I'm sure this question applies to every modern aircraft with a typical Navigation display on the MFD. But can anyone tell me: In the top right hand corner of the navigation MFD there's a time which looks like 000.0z which is the time to the waypoint tuned into the NAV radio. Can anyone tell me what unit of time this is?! Many thanks, Dan
April 10, 201511 yr Zulu time, aka UTC (universal coordinated time) aka, the time at the prime meridian on Earth. On most aircraft, the z indicates Zulu time. Hope this helps! 1251452 1251452-Matthew Tan
April 10, 201511 yr 000.0z which is the time to the waypoint I think it is the time at the waypoint, in other words arrival time. Michael J.
