Thrustmaster Warthog with the PMDG 737

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Today I bought the Thrustmaster Warthog and so far I'm really loving it! The only thing that's bothering me is that the throttles in the NGX are very jittery when I bring the throttle very close to the idle position (I'm not using the cut-off detent). I added a dead zone at the idle point through the TARGET software but this doesn't help. I disabled the left throttle entirely and kept both throttles locked together and the problem still persists. Even at higher thrust settings this problem can occur. I've noticed that the throttle has a small amount of "give" in either direction before it starts to slide properly, so I'm wondering if this could be the cause of the problem.

I appreciate that it's very difficult to troubleshoot these sorts of problems from afar, but I'm wondering if other Warthog/NGX owners have had similar issues and if so, what did you do to fix/workaround the problem?

Thanks in advance,

Louis

I've never had that problem and they works so well. But I've never used target just set everything up in fsx/p3d. The up and pull back is just perfect for Rev thrust put its just a key press with in the sim.

So Imo forget target and just use in game setting. With drivers installed think of them as plug in and play, no need for the target stuff

I use my own TARGET profile with Warthog to use in FSX.  Mostly flying the QW757 and I have had no problems with independent throttles reverse thrust etc.

I use TARGET mostly in P3D but also FSX when testing.  Never had a problem with throttles once I learned how to set everything up to my preferences.  Null zone on throttles should be small or nothing.  I have no null zone on one and 3% lower null zone on other and can't tell the difference.  Action is smooth and predictable.
