drzewiecki design New York X. Will this kill my pc?

Featured Replies

i just saw some videos of this New York City x. They look incredible. Will this scenery bring my fsx to its knees?? My normal orbx regions and fsdt airports run really good.

Just wondering if ya guys have this sceney

Not sure of your system performance but wise to tread carefully with this developer. Visually pleasing but tends to hit systems hard. Best to check the forum and decide for yourself if you agree with this developers philosophy.

Instant OOM unless you are running DX10. Even then you will get an OOM in very short order.

Be aware: this is not a "normal" scenery. More like an experiment. You will likely not be able to use it with your PMDG aircraft; you will not be able to combine it with other sceneries; you will not be able to use it with weather.

I would actually disagree with Clayton--in general Drzewiecki's stuff is excellent and, ironically, geared for great performance (I'm thinking of their great Polish sceneries here, especially Krakow). Their NYC package seems to be a glaring exception to that rule...
