Getting really weird shadows in the PMDG 737 not resembling anything on the aircraft. Anyone else having problems before I start to trouble shoot the settings?

I do not own the PMDG 737, but as far as i follow the discussion here, two questions:

 

1) Did you install the latest patch for the 737? There were some problems with VC shadows solved with the latest update of PMDG.

 

2) Following the fixer's manual, you should adjust the shadow bias, if you experience scattered shadows. Did you followed that advise?

Matthias thanks for the reply. Yes I installed the latest patch and have tried a few settings with shadow Bias but I have more free time today to test some more so I will see how that goes

Is Force VC Walls turned off? also do you have HD Shadows enabled - both should be on for best results.

Thanks Steve, Indeed turning on force VC walls has fixed the problem :smile:

HD was on already, all good
