I'm about to install UTX Europe for P3D 2.5, have a few question.

Hi,

Should I de-activate OpenLC_Europe1 scenery.cfg entry that came with FTX Global installation or leave it as it is?

Thank you

Dmitriy

I turn it off. It causes higher VAS load here if left activated.

I've not seen any reports of OpenLC affecting VAS negatively. Orbx VECTOR however has some VAS problems.

At their forum they say that UTX v lc is good on it's own.

With v1 they advised Scenery Tech LC...

I tested with OpenLC checked and unchecked (without UTX). Clearly could see difference in VAS load. It might be a different thing when UTX is above in the scenery lib.

Thank you folks. I'd rather turn it off if it won't break FTX Global functionality

Didn't break anything I could notice here. With UTX Europe v2 I have great coverage and graphics.

I'm confused Simon - using ANYTHING other than default scenery will affect VAS. Your choice is simple - use the ugly default landclass or 3pd. Adding a similar landclass should have no effect whatsoever - P3D will use the last one loaded.
