May 12, 201511 yr I am thinking about getting a new throttle quadrant. I am currently looking at the Elite MEL Throttle Quadrant. https://www.flyelite.com/shop/piston-throttle-quadrant/ Anyone have any feedback on these? Can you use reverse thrust with it? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks. May 12, 201511 yr I can't talk specifically about the throttle quads but I have an Elite yoke and two of the AP-4000 radio modules and I use them for FSX. They work great but the yoke, although it connects via USB, is NOT recognised as a Windows game controller. This means you need Elite's own driver and you are limited to the functions it provides (and the simulators it supports). For the yoke, that means the buttons (there are only four!) are not programmable and that you can't use the yoke in any old program that supports joysticks. (Although I did test it with P3D v1 and it worked.) MarkH https://www.youtube.com/@AlmostAviation AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D / 64Gb DDR5 / Zotac RTX 5070 Ti / 2560 x 1440 display
May 18, 201511 yr I just yesterday sold my complete Elite Pro Panel SE flight control system with 3 throttle quadrants ,both multi and single-engine models and complete AP 4000 avionics panel. The throttle quadrants only work with the Elite Pro Panel and Pro Panel SE units and use their own Elite drivers. which also require FSUPIC free or registered. The ad on the Elite Simulations Solutions page says this unit will add multi-engine prop, throttle and mixture functionality to your Elite system.
