The buttons on the Emuteq gps 530 unit do not work when i press them,using the Mindstar guage, nothing happens. I can switch to a different panel other than the Mindstar gps panel in the panel cfg. I can press terrain,direct to,ent, menu,etc. and they work. The buttons will not do anything when i use the Mindstar gps panel.

The Mindstar guage shows up ok, however I cannot get the GPS 530 buttons to work in P3d. I can switch to a guage other than a Mindstar in my panel.cfg and the GPS buttons work ok. I have removed and re-installed the Mindstar software several times to no avail. I have FSUIPC buttons assigned. I copied the fsuipc the assignments into the gns.ini to see if that would work. It didn't. I have SimConnect. I don't see here where I can attach a copy of my .dll , fsuipc ,panel.cfg and gns.ini Bill Davis

I am using a dual-boot system with Windows 10 and Windows 7. I found I cannot assign keys and buttons for my external GPS in the control panels in fsx-se and P3d in Windows 10 and I don't know why, though FSX is OK. I have found no solutions to this issue searching the internet. I don't have this issue using Windows 7. Bill Davis

I have about $27,000 invested in my Flight Illusion C-182 setup with dual FFB controls. I built an I-7 5930k ,128 gigs MSI computer with a 55" Samsung monitor ,dual interconnected TRC rudder pedals, re-upolstered C-182 seats. I am only short a cabin. Just like simmers resisting an upgrade to Windows10, I will be fighting any change with me going to VR. Bill Davis

Yes,the software works with P3d,all versions, FSX, FSX-SE,and FS9 which I have on my computer. Though I have not tried it yet ,there is software for X-Plane,which I also have. Though I usually fly the 182 with P3D, I fly others types of planes.. The gauges all work on all the planes I fly. I can switch to a 737 if I want to.I don't like jets! The software is available for free on the site. Are you planning on building a cockpit?

I have owned a Flight Illusions Cessna 182 panel with Dual Cessna FFB yokes since June. All gauges on the panel work smoothlessly and flawlessly with no fluxuating. The feel of the dual ffb yokes are more like the real thing and and are synchronized together through software. Their products are well worth the price in my opinion. A leak from the liquid cooler hose onto the motherboard shorted it out and the depleted cooler tank fried the cpu 3 days ago on my MSI Z97 / I7-4790 computer.It had been shutting down by itself lately. I upgraded to a MSI X99 and a 5930 cpu and 128 gigsDDR4 ram. I had planned to upgrade it later next year. My computer decided it was time now!! I got everything up and working last night. Bill Davis

I am using TRC/Simkits rudder pedals. They are heavy-duty and look like real Cessna pedals. About $900.00 I have 2 coupled together for my Cessna 182 Panel . I have had them for several years. Bill Davis

I run FSX , FSX-SE , Fs2004 ,P3D 2.5 , X-plane 10 , AeroFly. I use P3d 2.5 mostly with the Carenado 182.

I remember when i upgraded to Windows 10, I also had to upgrade to compatible Windows 10 video drivers.

Your problem may be the video drivers. What I would do first is uninstall the video drivers ,reboot, and then reinstall the latest drivers for your video card. Try it out. Should it not fix the problem, proceed to other troubleshooting.

WOW! There must be several programs that can clone a hard drive!!

I had problems with the Saitek systems when using Windows 8.1.The controllers sometimes would not show in the menu. They work just fine in Windows 10.

I have SATA cables for the drives on my computer.The cloned drive will work on the computer the drive was cloned from and can operate sucessfully when connected to any unused SATA cable that is available on that computer. It does not have to be connected to the same cable the failed drive was attached to.
