September 23, 201510 yr Anybody knows if that driver will fix the issues of lightnings, artifacts and dropping fps when opening menus during a flight, using SLI configuration of two evga 980 classified ? i am running the 355.82 at the moment but i have SLI disabled, because these issues... Gian
September 23, 201510 yr Tip: Users with NVIDIA drivers may want to download Nvidia GeForce Experience software which notifies and downloads driver updates.

September 23, 201510 yr I have two 980 in SLI, Win 10, 355.82 driver but I do not have artifacts. Thanks for your reply! i am on Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium optimized with Nick bible and with default setting in nvidia inspector. Do you use any different setting in the nvidia control panel / inspector ? Gian
September 23, 201510 yr Yes Gian, i have NI with MSAA 4x, sparse grid superampling 4x, lod bias -1.0, lod bias allow. Control panel by default.

September 24, 201510 yr Went straight 356.04 myself. Empirical testing seems to show slightly better smoothness and maybe - just maybe - some improved colour control. Will do some more specific testing at the weekend. As with all Nvidia driver upgrades, remember after installing and rebooting to open the resolution section of NCP and change the Output colour depth to `12bpc` and the Output dynamic range to `full`. Also in P3D (and usually FSX) its a very good idea to delete all the temporary shader files.
September 24, 201510 yr Hello; How can I do that? (NCP and change Output color depth to 12.) What does that do? Sorry, never heard about that. Thanks. Is that only for FSX or P3D? Found the NCP and I can only set mine to 8bpc. Should I still change the Output dynamic range to FULL? or in this case it doesn't make any sense? Many Thanks. I7 7700K, RTX2070 XC, 32Gb Ram, Win 10 Pro 64bit, P3D v4
September 24, 201510 yr 12bpc is for monitors that support it. If you don't have that option then leave it at 8. Full colour range is a de facto standard to see a full dynamic range of colour - by default NVIDIA drivers only shows the colour range 16-235. Change it to FULL and the range increases to 0-255 which provides greater colour definition and an increase in contrast for dark and white areas that mat show more detail. The option may not be available if you are using a TV and not a proper monitor if you don't have the RGB option in the left hand panel, only YCbCr444 or 422 Try it for yourself. Stick with what you like best.
September 24, 201510 yr Thanks for you answer. I do have 3 options: RGB, YCbC444/422. I'm leaving mine on RGB correct? After changing the Output color depth to Full. Many Thanks I7 7700K, RTX2070 XC, 32Gb Ram, Win 10 Pro 64bit, P3D v4
September 24, 201510 yr Correct. Should give more vivid colour palette especially noticeable in the sim. Don't forget to delete the shader cache file - this should be done for every driver revision anyway... Just be mindful that it can make things like net surfing or document reading a little too strident - but it takes seconds to switch it back. No reboot required.
September 24, 201510 yr Thank you very very much! It looks much better in the sim now! WOW! Edit: Where Can I find this shader cache file? Sorry not too computer savvy. Many Thanks as always I7 7700K, RTX2070 XC, 32Gb Ram, Win 10 Pro 64bit, P3D v4
