  1. They are some super cool pedals and with a price to fit to  Funny i started off with only fixed wing being something i was interested in learning but the rc heli pilot in me keeps steering to free flight the helis...annoying thing is rc helicopters have a lot more power than the full size thing and fsx deems landing on the the roof's of random building as a crash
  2. Good morning Has anyone made any great or recommended training videos to cover manual engine start on prop and jet engines,Helicopter start ups,Auto pilot explainers and ILS explainers Getting to the part in fsx were the missing are expecting me to know/understand the ILS but unless i missed a mission or two they have not been explained I did figure the autopilot out very quickly,I set the jet to cover speed height and compass direction and left it to it while i had dinner but on my return it had somehow crashed in a flat field....WTH thanks for your help
  3. could a mod please delete this post as it was an accidental double post..sorry
  4. I have to say fair play to you,I love forums as it is the best way to learn a lot from many different people
  5. I made a video of me flying just using my mad catz 5 stick https://youtu.be/w-W385k_p5I
  6. top man tooting..im sold on them
  7. Top man thank you ☺
  8. Perfect as it was the ch pro pedals i have seen and the price it right for me at the moment Hi Beardyman my joystick has rudder built in and works by twisting it left and right. It is well worth the money but i want pedals to give me a bit more realism as i fly.As for using any mixing via the sim it is a HUGE nono,It might just get you by but when you upgrade you will find you are retraining your brain again(I fly rc helis..start right first trust me) set the sim to full realizm, use no mixing and remove all the null zones on all axis...if not you are only cheating yourself.Angelo Cosma please take no offence and im not dissing you or mean to sound rude
  9. Good afternoon everyone.I am looking to buy some rudder pedals soon.I am currently using a mad catz 5 joystick and was wondering if there is any that I should avoid.I will probably buy a second hand set and then perhaps upgrade over time ☺
  10. Just landed in lukla.First attempt was far to high so ran out of run way and a go around failed badly.Aced on the second attempt and only needed half the runway..next challenge please ☺
  11. 40 mins to download 8 gig..dam that is slow
  12. i upgraded the taxiways and made a backup of the files but sadly they did not fix the issue will just reinstall shortly
  13. good morning Yesterday i was trying to update the taxi way graphics and something went wrong leaving the ground textures with a black snow or black fuzzy effect.I had this before and only way around i found was to reinstall any idea's
  14. Thank you guys for the replies.I am going to hold off from the Orbyx addons as this computer needs a massive over haul to do it justice.I am currently downloading the freeware updates that i am looking for so thanks again.Sadly the server is painfully slow so i expect it to take a lot of hours. This building a replica boeing jumbo jet is going to a slow process as you can imagine
  15. Hi everyone Is there a global scenery update for fsx steam version,I do not mean photo quality but an upgrade from the original ones.In time as i slowly upgrade this pc i will be buying all the addons i can but for now some freeware just to keep me happy would be nice
