Before I start reinstalling, maybe one of you can shed some light on this.

 

I lost the water around Athens. From Rodos to Rome I seem to have lost the water. All I see is land.

 

I worked on Cyprus, hoping to give it some more detail, using SBuilderX 3.14. I still have water around Cyprus.

When using TMFviewer I noticed Greece is in 0602 and that stretches all the way to Spain. Hence I understand why LIRF also has no water.

But comparing it with a backup I do not see a file missing or a file being altered.

 

I had FlyTampa's Athens, switched it off but to no avail. All I did, I think, was adding a Cyprus file for more detail, but obviously I must have done something because yesterday all was still ok.

Yes, I removed the Cyprus file....

 

I hope someone has a bright idea what could have been altered before reinstalling it all.....

Sounds like a corrupted Terrain.cfg. Hope you have it backed up ? There is a modified default cfg in the Avsim lib if you need to restore it to original. You may need to re install addons that have modified the terrain config for example UTX or Orbx terrain products.

Thanks Julian, I do have a back-up and shall restore it. Hope it helps as the date on it in 2007.... Doesn't look changed.

 

East and South of Greece there is water, so to me it seems like it is one tile but I need to check the extent.

If you have the UTX utility, opening this utility and then closing it will fix this problem (guess it fixes the entries in the terrain.cfg.  If you do not have the UTX installed, then it must be another issue.
