Unable to connect to FSX - Networked

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm in a very unfortunate situation. I recently purchased a new FSX machine and PC to run as a client for programs such as EFB, Active Sky etc. Ive always ran active sky over a network and never had any problems. I set the original networked install up my self. Since buying these new machines I cannot for the life of me get ASN to connect to FSX.. It just says waiting for simulator in orange. This is driving me round the bend as im fairly confident I've done everything correct but maybe not lol.. Here's some specs of my install

Main FSX PC - Win 7 64 bit

AS_Connect is installed

FSX Version: MSFSX: Acceleration: 10.0.61637.0

MSFSX Acceleration SDK Version: 10.0.61637.0

Note - FSX is classic boxed edition

Secondry non fsx gaming PC - Win 7 64 bit

SimConnect Versions installed: 10.0.60905.0 || 10.0.61242.0 || 10.0.61259.0

ASN Version: Active Sky Next for FSX SP2

Am I missing something here... I'm loosing my mind lol!

Oh and by the way Avilasoft EFB is fully operational and functional over the network using simconnect.. Live map, airport etc everything works perfectly
