July 21, 200520 yr I have not heard of any interesting project Flight1 nor Dreamfleet is working on. Have you.Well.. In case they ran out of ideas... here is one they can start right away.http://world.honda.com/news/2003/c031216_2_8.html:) Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
July 21, 200520 yr I've seen the Honda bizjet--pretty interesting. I don't think Flight1/Dreamfleet have been working on experiemental, one of a kind aircraft projects though. The Honda is more of a concept aircraft--nowhere close to being in production yet.I've been hoping someone will someday tackle a Lancair IV-P. I believe it's still the fastest piston single and it beats virtually all piston twins--and there's enough of them flying around :)-John
July 22, 200520 yr There's plenty of clues about: Look at their forum! Next aircraft, just going into beta is1: A twin2: Better than the FS versionand3: named after a tree - and landed gentry.;-) Allcott
July 22, 200520 yr Good shot John:Of those that I have tried, I have not been satisfied at all with any of the LAir's that have been offered as freeware yet. (Please, no offense intended Mr. developers, I appreciate your efforts very much).Great aircraft, and I share your desire to see a credible contribution for this dandy bird.Respectfully:RTH
July 22, 200520 yr Great, I'm waiting for KIA to make a Jet, that will be cheaper, better warranty, and have a wacky guy flying it, saying AAAIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE! :(
July 22, 200520 yr There's at least 2 products in the works that I know of.They are twins, and there realworld counterparts are quite successful commercially. That's all I can say at the moment, sorry. But an announcement for one of them has already been made in the F1 support forums so you can go there for more information ;)
July 22, 200520 yr <<3: named after a tree - and landed gentry.>>Gosh...I've never heard of an Oakcraft Earl...or maybe it's one of those vintage machines...a Count Sapling. Ya think?(-:
July 22, 200520 yr "Gosh...I've never heard of an Oakcraft Earl"Oh! Mr. AV84fun, or is your real name Merkin Muffley? What am I going to do with you?!!You're just like your brother, Buck Turgidson! ;-)Now, get ready for the "Earl", I need you and "Slim" to do some serious testing on it. Did you know we're putting a CRM114 in it?As to the competition we're up against: Col.'Bat' Guano is no worry to me!" Buck, honey...I'm not sleepy either.""I know how it is, baby. Tell you what you do. You just start your countdown, and old Bucky'll be back here before you can say...Blast Off!"Just remember when you get to work, those famous words:"But I want you to remember one thing - the folks back home is a countin' on ya, and by golly, we ain't about to let 'em down."I'll send ya' an e-mail, we really need a phone chat!Yeah, I'm in a Kubrick mood tonight, and that "Oakcraft Earl" still has me... :-lolMy apologies to those who have no idea of what this post is about is about, but Mr. "Fun" certainly does, and it is all in good fun!Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg

July 22, 200520 yr could be, could be.but until there's an official press release we're not working on anything (at least not anything we can discuss openly) so it's no use speculating.
July 22, 200520 yr Lou,ROTFLMAO!Well, I know where all that came from, it's one of my favorite all time classic movies. Yeah, I know, I'm type cast LOL. Although I'm a wee bit smaller than ole 'Slim' was . . . but hey, if ya gota ride one down, you might as well wave yer hat and scream your brains out!You made my morning! "Can he make it? . . . Can he make it? . . .why sure he can, if he's good, he can take that baby right down on the deck . . . .wow, you should see one of those babies . . . " (a paraphrase, but you get the point)Best,Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. Dopke (Clay)Major, USAF (retired)"Drac"
July 22, 200520 yr Author Then don't, but I will. :)A recent conversation was overheard in the RXP forum between a highly placed source in Dreamfleet and RXP. The source hinted about a new feature not seen in FS by RXP for an undisclosed new Dreamfleet product entering beta. A fully operational cigar lighter was disclosed. I have a sneaky feeling that was just a clever ploy to shift attention away from the actual new feature. There is definitely a new plane coming and RXP is providing "something". Very very interesting. Bob.....:) Bob Prince
