July 13, 201510 yr Hi, I fly alot EGLL-EKCH and having FTXG-FTXOPLCEU , UTXEU2.1 and Aerosoft EGLL and Flytampa EKCH VAS is always the big issue.(and the NGX) I do feel i have found my settings to overcome it and i have a little suspicion that UTX2.1 still loads something into memory even if i have it disabled in the scenery library. Disabling everything via the UTXEU tool seems to help . Anyone else noticed this ? For the test i used only roads active/none active in scenery library . Everything else off but active inside UTX tool Thanks Michael Moe Michael Moe
July 13, 201510 yr You have to use either UTXEU or FTXPOLCU as these two products are substitute each other. There is no sense at tall to use them both simultaneously, thus I'm not surprised that your VAS usage is skyrocketing. Honestly, it's funny that you were even able to take-off 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.

For this i use FTXEULC. I only use the roads option in UTXUE2.1 (instead of FTX Vector - another product) Sorry if it was not clear I manage to make the flight without OOM but only if i disable the UTX roads from within the TOOL also. Thats kind of strange. Michael Moe Michael Moe
July 13, 201510 yr Author Did another test again just leaving EGLL via BPK7F and i have an increase of 80-120mb when i enable roads in the UTX Tool But still disabled them in the scenery library. Also it seems that there is a massive memory use (250mb) after BPK towards TOTRI. About 7nm before TOTRI climbing to FL180. I have no clue what is loading beneath me at that spot. Maybe other can test? Its that spot everytime. But from the top about UTXEU something is loaded Even without enabling it in scenery library on my system. Maybe this goes for other products as well. July 13, 201510 yr Moderator What happens when you do it the other way around? Disable the OpenLC and enable the UTXEU - do you still get OOM's RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

July 13, 201510 yr Moderator You might try asking Allen in the UTX forum. Other than curiosity, is it causing you problems? I guess you could try using process explorer to see what files get loaded but I know that Themida copy protection disables process explorer and I *think* the Flight1 uses it to copy protect products. I know it's used for sure on GEX, not positive about UTX. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
July 13, 201510 yr Author Thanks Vic, but my knowledge is limit to Process explorer.I just find it strange.Maybe the spot around BPK and TOTRI is the landzone in which the world is split up,i dont know. What if is a memory leak made by thirdpart addon and we could save those 250mb for something else.just dreaming here. But enough for now Michael Moe Michael Moe
