Just bought the reboot a couple of days ago and i cant seem to get the FO to connect the GPU on his electric power up preperation. He always starts the APU.

 

Also during the "before start procedure" FO does not switch the electric Hydraulic pump A to off regardless of the setting in the configuration.

In that situation, you would need to connect the GPU manually.

 

Before Start Procedure:  Confirm you're referring to SOP 1.

Yes i am refering to SOP1.

 

Why is it that i need to turn on the GPU?

 

in the old version the FO had No problem connecting the GPU

Reboot does things differently than legacy.  If using a GPU, the aircraft would already have the GPU connected (Long Panel State).
