July 21, 201510 yr REX WA can create some dramatic weather for sure! And it´s very good fun to fly the community created themes and flight plans if you look for a challenge! If the weather gets really severe, the FPS drop quite dramatically into the upper teens on my system. That is with Texture 4 Direct clouds in DXT5 Format and the cloud coverage set to medium in P3D. It´s still very smooth and flyable, and it really looks amazing:
July 22, 201510 yr Looks great Michael! Ok here's a challenge for you since you are your own "weather architect" now Let's see some massive thunderstorm shots or better yet a tornado B) Chris Sunseri
July 22, 201510 yr Thanks for your comments! I just downloaded several service packs and new texture SP for Texture Direct. (Obviously I never updated this program yet... ;-) ) I'll do some more flying and experimenting tonight. It's great to see bad weather cells approaching on the horizon. And the layers and density are definetely different to what I see with ASN on my system. Normally, I use REX Soft Clouds. But since WA offers the possibility to choose the correct cloud textures for the weather you've just created, I use Texture Direct clouds for WA in P3D, and that alone is a look I am not used to anymore! ;-) I like it! I'll post some more shots tonight!
July 22, 201510 yr i dont see anything special there at all So what were you expecting, since the user obviously is just testing the addon, and there be no difference if he were to use a weather engine or WA If you want to see a vid on it check out this link and go to the 24 minute mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1456&v=c3YLDraWjdE I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
