August 2, 201510 yr Hey, I am curious to try out FSX-SE again now that Dovetail is doing some enchancements to it. I am wondering what are the exact or required tweaks required on this platform. I never really got to tweak FSX (original) and moved to p3d at an early stage. But now I have the hardware for it. Hardware: i7-5820K, 2 GTX 980 SLI, Windows 10 Pro, 4K monitor. I assume this tweak is still needed [bufferPools] Usepools=0 What about Himem one and others. I would appreciate some exact try these tweaks first from users with similar hardware like mine. I have read the guide, I am just confused on what tweaks for FSX-SE Your guidance and advice is greatly appreciated. August 2, 201510 yr FSX:SE doesnt need the same tweaks from FSX that we used to need. BufferPools are automated now for vertex and index buffers. Affinity Mask is automated, but you can still set it to a specific setting in your .cfg if you wish. HighMemFix is programmed in so you dont need that. I run mine with 0 tweaks. Let me guess.... you want 64bit. Josh Daniels-Johannson

I rather run without addings tweaks makes more mess. Awesome no more Bufferpools and highmem tweaks. Will Nvidia SLI work (I do see a profile in NV Inspector) and what about autogen (can I max it) How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
August 2, 201510 yr Will Nvidia SLI work (I do see a profile in NV Inspector) and what about autogen (can I max it) SLI has always had some minor favorable effects in FSX but there is not full SLI profile support from Nvidia. Let me guess.... you want 64bit. Josh Daniels-Johannson
