Decided to try Taburet Night Environment - was not disappointed

If that VAS measurement is accurate, then that is way too much for my taste. What I recently learned, though, is that these night lighting addons add lights to scenery/airports that insist on using large areas of photoscenery and thus "block out" the FTX Global light vectoring. Some youtubing and screenshot hunting revealed that it will replace all of the 3d lights I lost when installing Jo Erlund's fantastic KDAB. I also think it will replace the 3d FTX lighting that I lost at T2G's LTBA and maybe even Aerosoft's Mykonos. That's great and all but I'll be broke at that rate so I'm just gonna sit tight...

Yes VAS usage is probably a bit to high, but I tested with Aerosoft NE with 100 % light intensity and it consumes approximately the same amount of VAS around large cities - at least for me.

Luckily, for night flying, you can create a custom cfg with less autogen and buildings, thus saving VAS. At night, you don't see it anyways. Moreover, you can probably turn down AI road traffic.
