August 30, 201510 yr I've been using some of Ray Smith's excellent AFCADS to reduce takeoff and landing flow at KORD. It's great not being stuck behind ten planes awaiting takeoff, but I'm curious if large aircraft use crosswind runways as a common practice in the real world at airports such as KORD, KJFK, KLAX, etc. Thanks, Ernie
