Interesting solution to the stupid deer

Featured Replies

I always thought the deer looked dumb in X-plane. They were way out of scale too. But I loved the birds because you can actually hit them as does happen sometimes in real life, unfortunately. I left this setting on for the birds, but cringed when the deer would run across the runway. I always hoped, Laminar would separate the birds from the deer, so I could just have birds only.

There is a file on the org site the changes the pack of deer into 2 airport security agents. They run around the airport like the deer. However, because there are only 2 and very small, you can hardly see them and at least don't look as out of place. I just tried it, and it works great.

Having 2 security guards running around the airport and crossing the runways like crazy is very odd to me.

If you would like to keep the birds but get rid of the deers, you should try the -deer removal kit- which basically put their texture to transparent. Nothing running around.
