September 3, 201510 yr Hey Guys, As the title implies, I just purchased and installed Steve's fixer, and all aircraft work fine except the Aerosoft bus, which when loaded hard boots my PC. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
September 10, 201510 yr Commercial Member If it's a hard reboot then I would suspect a power issue to the gpu. It may be that the complex aircraft and vc shadows is too much for it. I had a dodgy power connector on my previous gpu and it would occasionally reboot the pc as you describe. My FSX Analysis Blog
September 10, 201510 yr More than likely hardware issue. It's amazing how much dust and dirt get inside a PC. Clean it out and reseat the connectors. September 11, 201510 yr Author Thanks guys I'll give her a good cleaning and re-seat all the connectors. Steve...I have a GTX660 with a Corsair 500 PS. I'm looking at upgrading to a 980gt hopefully and know I'll need to get a new PS as 500 would barely run it. I'm away from my computer this weekend but will let you guys know how it turns out. I wanted to mention that the PMDG 777 runs fine, and also the iFly 737. Its just when I hit the VC in the Aerosoft, it shuts down. I have managed to do one circuit with her after updating to the latest patch, but not sure if it was the silver bullet because it was still happening after initially. I'll keep you guys posted.
