Cherokee Gauge KIAS and Older AI Mods

Featured Replies

I'm putting this post here because my pics are in P3D.

Anyway if you use the A2A Cherokee and you prefer an airspeed indicator in KIAS and an attitude indicator in the more traditional Piper colors I've combined them into one.  I've seen panels with either or but I haven't seen both gauges on the same plane (which would be more realistic).  In these shots I'm also using KDFW's tan plastic texture mod along with Tim-HH's fantastic red/gold exterior paint:

I think I'll need permission to upload the combined gauge mods but here's a few pics while I figure out how to contact the people who made the originals

Again the gauge mods are not my work, I only combined them in one panel edit.

That looks nice and nicely done.  I'm supposing that the checklist has MPH?...e.g. you'd have to convert the numbers?  How's she fly?

Yeah I didn't touch any of the manual stuff.  There's even a placard that's in mph I just noticed on the main panel... I think I can get rid of it though.

The cherokee is my fav a2a plane.  I've got time in a similar version - that's what I did most of my rw training in.

That's what I flew after I got my PPL...Cherokees and Archers.  Not very exciting but a good solid airplanes.  Mine all had knots.  :)

EDIT:  Flew this one quite a bit...

I believe original author is Brett Henderson on the A2A forum. I had received the files from him in August of 2014
