As I've said before the response over this thing is larger than anything we have done. As for the gauges it wasn't my goal to "raise the bar" as much as my desire to learn how to do them since the 2004 SDK came out, before RAS released the spit. I knew it could be done but didn't know how. The spit proved it could be done so I went to work. RAS did help me out as stated in the docs. And actually you can add gauges to the panel. I didn't document it but there is a VC section in the panel.cfg (the last section I believe) where you can add any conventional gauge. They won't be smooth but it still allows you to add a gauge if you feel the need to.As for aircraft we have done they are all available here at avsim. In order of release they are:Bellanca Super DecathlonBellanca ScoutAeronca L-16AChristen Eagle II The Eagle is the only one with smooth gauges but I hope to update all our aircraft someday. Again response has been overwhelming and we can't thank everyone enough!-KevinPS: we released the paitkit today for anyone wanting to make their own schemes. eagpkit.zip

ah, awesome. I've been looking forward to the paint kit. :) THanks...

my apologies...I have seen many of the exterior shots, but was unable to find the vc and panel.I will search again, thanks.

Just got it, & spent about 1/2 hour. IMO, it's the best aerobatic freeware file I've run into! Easily does manuvers such as knife edge & hammerheads like the RealAir SF260, but with quicker responce that you expect from a Pitts or Cristen Eagle. With my stick & pedals, the "feel" seems very good! And like the real life Pitts, all those "simulated" wing wires create enough drag to bring it in steep with no flaps (since it doesn't have any), and still have the airspeed decay for a nice landing. Like the landing bounce too!Even with my very ancient Athlon 1900XP, the frame rates are in the smooth upper 20's through the 30's. I use Jerome, Idaho (JER) as an aerobatic area, because it's also frame rate friendly.Glad I use a "joystick"!!!! c}( And BTW--- rudder pedals are also essential a realistic good time!L.Adamson

What approach and landing speeds , do you suggest?I'm really good at bouncing taildraggers on landing!!! :(Barry

LOLSo am I, Barry! But it's getting better...And thank you LIC for the sweet little Eagle!-JeremyThe Ozark DogfighterHappy Flying!
