September 21, 201510 yr Commercial Member Kyle, thanks for your help. No the HDR is not ticked. Welcome. Tick the box, and that should do it. Kyle Rodgers
September 21, 201510 yr Author Welcome. Tick the box, and that should do No, no difference Kyle. The FSX version was fine with no problems. Are all the P3D NGX's the same? Dave Taylor
September 21, 201510 yr Commercial Member No, no difference Kyle. The FSX version was fine with no problems. Are all the P3D NGX's the same? The NGX is the same, yes, but P3D is vastly different, especially in the rendering options. The required settings should be in the Intro Manual, but I do not have it in front of me to give you a page reference. Kyle Rodgers
September 21, 201510 yr Author I have just read through that Kyle and apart from the normal how to use, (Which I already know) there's no help really. Dave Taylor

Using any other tools that alter lighting, or effects? Is there power to the aircraft? Are you turning the right knobs? (The latter two probably seem like dumb questions, but I've seen some pretty dumb moves from otherwise smart people) Kyle Rodgers
September 21, 201510 yr The panel lights work fine without HDR, mine is always off because too many things will over do it and I end up with bright glossy concrete aprons. Dave, please do not try to fix it by uninstalling/reinstalling... this usually causes more problems than it fixes. I suspect the solution, once found, is going to be followed by a head slap but that's okay. You wanted to know if P3D is vastly different and as far as NGX is concerned the answer is no. The lights will work the same (only exception is dome light appears differently when you look up at it in its receptacle, unique to P3D). Dan Downs KCRP
September 21, 201510 yr Author Okay, I'm sorted now thanks. I did it by switching the dome light to dim. Strangely, the panel lights was working then. Confused? I am. Thanks once again to Kyle and Dan for your interest. Appreciated. Dave Taylor
