Hi guys, I posted in lockheed martin forums as well but here as well to get some more traffic.

 

The computer builders have stated there is nothing more they can do, the tests all passed 100% without errors and say that it must be a software related issue.

 

It leaves me completely demoralised and I can't possibly see how I am going to sim on p3d again at this rate.

On a new skylake build which has been built and tested with a retailer.

If going between full screen and windowed the sim will pause and will be unrecoverable (fps counter frozen and the menus are not able to be accessed)

Really struggling with this one.

I have reinstalled the OS (windows 7). Reinstalled p3d with latest hotfix and still this has occurred.

Specs

OS Windows 7 64
Asus Rog Maximus Ranger VIII
Intel 6700k
16GB Corsair LPX ram
2 Samsung 850 EVO (1 dedicated to P3d)
1GTX 980ti (Swapped to a 750ti to see if I could replicate which I could)

Just so I get it right. What c++/ Direct X run times do I need to make sure I download and install that were maybe missed in the default installation of P3d?

You installed P3D using the Setup.exe installer and not the Prepar3d.msi installer?

You'll never believe this guys but i've found the issue. I feel over the moon.

 

It's the realtec audio drivers which were causing all sorts of random issues. Ezdok now launches and my sim can go into fullscreen and windowed to it's hearts content..

 

I don't currently have any sound but I am more than happy I know what it is..
