P3Dv3 gives error for PMDG on exit

Featured Replies

After installing the 737NGX into P3Dv3, using the new installer, very time when I exit P3D i get the following error messages, concerning the NGX:

[error.0]
error=Duplicate Section Name
 File: E:\Prepar3D v3\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-900NGX WL\aircraft.cfg
 Section: SMOKESYSTEM

[error.1]
error=Error loading "PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_HUD_interface.dll." in "C:\Users\DEMIOUS\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\DLL.xml."

[error.2]
error=Duplicate Section Name
 File: E:\Prepar3D v3\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-900NGX WL\aircraft.cfg
 Section: SMOKESYSTEM

These come from the ContentErrorLog, in the Documents/Prepar3D v3 folder.

Some advise on how to proceed would be very much appreciated. ;)

Cheers!

We're looking into it. In the meantime (this is a copy of some info from the linked thread):

"Go to your P3D.cfg and set the entry "contenterrorlog=1" under the [MAIN] section to 0. It's just an information for developer. Nothing serious."

Do you have any idea why the thread was deleted?

As with most of the posts that disappear: it was not signed.
