October 13, 201510 yr Intel TS15A CPU Air Cooler (it came with the CPU) When you do decide to overclock [if you do] you would need to replace it with a better cooler. The TS15A is the new cooler that Intel are bundling with the CPU. Bloody useless for overclocking. Which cooler depends on how much you are prepared to spend. You also need to decide if you are okay with water cooling or would prefer air. Budget? Water or air? 250GB 850 Evo is very low capacity, it will be filled up in a flash.

Im not gonna worry about that now Im only putting windows and P3D on the SSD, so it should be fine. I also have another SSD and HDD, so capacity isnt a problem. Anyways, i just found out that the store im ordering before doesnt recive the Intel 6700k before the end of the month. Is it a safe choice to go for the 4790K instead? Based on this: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-vs-Intel-Core-i7-4790K its almost the same. Or what about Intel Core i7-6700 Skylake? is there much difference with that and the K-series? Like, will it give me 10 fps more or like 1 fps more?

We're half way through the month already. I'd wait if I were you. Skylake isn't just about performance, there are other advantageous features too. Your choice though. Or what about Intel Core i7-6700 Skylake? is there much difference with that and the K-series? Like, will it give me 10 fps more or like 1 fps more? The non " k" version isn't overclockable. If we assume you would be able to overclock to 4.6Ghz [most 6700K's can] then you would lose the extra 15% increase in frame rate provided by overclocking. I base that on the fact that overlooking has a linear relationship to frame rate. If you feel you'll never overclock, the 6700 non "K" is an option, but my experience tells me that in time [with a platform that 's so easy to overclock] you'll regret not being patient and waiting two weeks, and thus not having that option.

Thanks again martin-w. So the i7 4790K is out of the question? If im able to run P3D v3 with FTX: Norway, 737NGX, Active Sky and Airports of Norway on fairly high graphics with 25 fps+ im happy with that. Or wont i achive does number with the previous setup and the non K 6700?
