August 23, 200520 yr That's the spirit Jim. If it's one of your favorite planes, than you probably won't be dissapointed. The 707 is one of my favorite planes, and while it is buggy, I still love it. As far as the 727 goes, Dreamfleet has kicked butt and released one of the best planes on the market. Just thought I'd share. I'm impressed with it everytime I use it.Jeff Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
August 23, 200520 yr I think you will find that the 'Herk' was concieved BEFORE the 707!Dave T. .........On the lovely warm Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/ Dave Taylor
August 23, 200520 yr The testing of the current beta version is over now. The product is very advanced and they will probably release some new version to the team when the reported bugs have been fixed.
August 23, 200520 yr Yep, that's a fact. I'm not sure I see what your point is though?Jeff Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
August 24, 200520 yr I have lost my trust with CS after buying the 707. Excellent viusuals, but terrible FM. I don't think I will buy anything from them till the 707 problem is solved and not just swept under the rug. John Sark
August 24, 200520 yr >>When did Captain Sim refuse to fix the 707? I could not find>that information on AVSIM. :-hmmm>Why don't you tell me where you find any information on the addressing of the major issues, specifically with the auto pilot, memory leak in the VC, model issues, etc.In my opinion, coming out with a new model after closing down your forums because of all the bug reports from paying customers means you do not wish to address the major issues causing those of us who fly in the VC and use the autopilot to have wasted our money. Now they have the nerve to come out with an entirely new airplane without even addressing the outstanding issues on their last one? No thanks. I will enjoy alphasims simple hercules with a basic VC until I have heard from others that CS actually decided to let their beta testers go through test cycles and address issues instead of releasing a buggy half done product ala (not-so)perfect flight
August 24, 200520 yr First of all I disagree that CS planes are being compared to Perfect Flight. I think it is a great insult for any developer to be compared to Perfect Flight. Perfect Flight is a day light robbery and yes I did get burned by them once. (I got that dreadful tristar they made, shame on them and more shame on me for buying it)I apologise to the moderators of the forum, please feel free to delete my post if you feel offended by my remarks towards perfect flight. However, I would agree with many of you that it would be unwise to rush to buy this new CS offering. This C130 would have to be a lot better than their 707 in terms of system modelling etc. I still like the 707 though despite its short comings....It is still a lot better than the recently released wilco A380 junk. (again apologies to moderators)I, for one, will monitor fellow simmers post on the subject and then make my decision to acquire the c130.If only all planes were done by Flight 1 and PMDG...
