October 1, 20169 yr Don't use the left outboard DU, the Capt PFD, instead you can use the right outboard DU, first officer's PFD, for the same function and it will not cause a CTD. Problem is between LM and PMDG, neither has the ability to isolate the problem on their own and they have yet found a way to collaborate but at least the workaround is very easy. Hi Dan. Read a lot of your posts about this issue Is this approved (using the FO´s screen)? I´m a little bit scared to try it out. Flyin EDDM - KJFK in the moment, 6h30m in the air. It´s very scary - one (wrong) click and a lot of time is wasted.
October 1, 20169 yr I use the FO PFD often no problem. Less of an issue now with 40-in 4K screen but solution is same. You can always save a flight enroute, or TOD or whenever you want. I always reuse the same enroute save name over and over for the B77L I use _ENR B77L, The underscore sorts first alphabetically. I prefer this to the automatic backup FSUIPC can do. Dan Downs KCRP
